Most bands just do a nostalgia tour playing their debut album, or rerelease it for the tenth time with a bonus track. But not Placebo.

According to their posts, they recorded their debut LP before they really knew what they were doing and look back now, as a band with decades of experience, on it as unfinished business.

That’s why they’re not just releasing their debut this year, they’re reworking everything to where they think it should have been.

I think every creative will sympathise with this feeling, and we’re very excited they’ve gone this route.
