The card game cum crack addict making FOMO money weapon Magic the Gathering recently released a whole mass of cards themed for Lords of the Rings. Alongside getting racists frothing by having a black Aragorn, they had the Willy Wonka style promotional idea of making an ultra rare, one of a king version of their One Ring card and releasing it hidden in a normal pack.

It soon became apparent that this card would be so sought after by collectors it would sell for over a million… and the card was found, not by an influencer of an opening operation, but by a MTG fan and it’s now been purchased: for $2 million by Post Malone.

We love the fact that Post Malone is a massive MTG nerd and now has the super rare One Ring.
