War Child Records are in the promo period for their charity album HELP(2) and today we heard Pulp’s contribution.

Well, we say Pulp, because guesting on the record are Damon Albarn, Carl Barat, Giran Chatten and Kae Tempest.

This is Pulp at their most punk which, if you’ve seen the current incarnation (or the old one) may surprise you. It’s as punk as their going to get, stripped back, raw, overtly political and very, very angry.

Pulp have history his War Child, once donating their £25,000 Mercury Music Prize money to them after beating the release to the award.
