EA Sports games have introduced a lot of people to a range of music they’d never otherwise hear, as well as pounding songs into people’s heads so much you never forget the music.

EA Sports FC 26 is a terrible title, but it’ll sell loads and getting onto it is always a coup. The 109 songs have been revealed, and there’s loads of the modern up tempo stuff you’d imagine.

But there’s a surprise. Decades old British legends Pulp have a song from their 2025 album on the soundtrack… and you’d think it had to be Got To Have Love because that’s the pounding ear worm.

Surprisingly, it’s actually Spike Island. Even as massive Pulp fans, we don’t really understand how popular that became, but hey, good job.
