Reading and Leeds announce more 2021 acts
This week the boss of Reading and Leeds said they’re confidant acts from America and Ireland will be able to perform at the festival in person after navigating the constantly evolving covid situation… and now he’s announced a load more including Machine Gun Kelly, who would very much have to travel.
Other newcomers include Sam Fender, Nothing but Thieves and Wolf Alice, while the festival have embraced social media video and done a fifteen second clip of their new acts which we’ll include below.
Now, Glastonbury often gets people waxing lyrical about their life, so step forward newly announced act Sea Girls to do it over Reading and Leeds: “No other rock n’ roll moment like it. Leeds festival is the place we first saw our heroes play, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon. It’s where we got our GCSE results and realised that being in a band together was the only path for us. It is where we formed Sea Girls. We can’t fucking wait.”
