Riot Fest 2022 is going to see something previously ruled out: an original Misfits performance. Yes, although Danzig said there’d be no more ‘original’ gigs, the band will be back for Riot Fest. Furthermore, they will mark the fortieth anniversary of the Walk Among Us LP by playing it in full.
The players operating under the ‘Original Misfits’ label are Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, with Dave Lombardo and Acey Slade. Their slot is September 17th 2022.
