Denny Laine has passed away aged 79, after struggling with lung disease.

Denny was a vocalist in the early phase of the Moody Blues, where he sang on Go Now. He also played in Wings, where he co-wrote Mull of Kintyre and Paul McCartney recognised his input by allowing him to perform songs like Go Now.

“Denny was a great talent with a fine sense of humour and was always ready to help other people,” Paul wrote on Insta.
