Iron Maiden’s original lead singer, Paul Di’Anno has passed away. He was just 66.
Paul sung on the band’s first two albums and helped establish them, but different accounts differ on whether he was fired or left of his own accord. He was partying very hard, and left himself with long term help concerns.
In the last two years he played 100 gigs, but had to use a wheelchair, and released a career retrospective last months.
