Steve Harley, the frontman of Cockney Rebel, has died. He was 73. It’s believed he died from cancer, as he recently cancelled dates for treatment.
His biggest hit was Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me), a number one in 1975, and he was touring until near the end of his life.
He earned a second batch of fans from presenting Radio 2’s Sounds of the 70s for nine years.
