Luis Vasquez, aka the post punk outfit The Soft Moon, and Juan Mendez, aka DJ Silent Servant, have both died. They were found in the same building as Medez’s partner, all deceased.
Details are scarce at the moment, but the Los Angeles Times police source it’s being investigated as a possible fentanyl overdose.
This is a deep loss for the darkwave scene.
