Roger Daltrey has performed a great work for the young people of the UK by staging the Teenage Cancer Trust Concerts. Started in 2000 and running every year except for Covid, he has curated them, persuaded swathes of the music industry to play, and raised £32 million for the trust, which has supported twenty eight specialised NHS units, as well as workers and specialists, for teenagers with cancer.

Today, it has announced this will be his last year and he will retire from curating, moving to the role of Honorary Patron. From 2025, each year will have a guest curator.

In 2024, his band The Who will play two orchestral shows, and at the end of the lineup there will be a special Ovation concert with Roger and many of the stars who have helped him.
