Skrillex is back, and anyone who thinks he’s just about dubstep is in for a shock. The new single is called Butterflies and is a fresh house tune, with vocals by Starrah, a song writer who worked on Camila Cabello’s Havana among others.
Skrillex has additional input from Four Tet, who explained the track was recorded in February… 2020 before being finished recently. Indeed, Four Tet has posted on the socials to explain “Working with [Skrillex] and seeing his cosmic level ableton skills in real time has been amazing and huge respect for how crazy good he got the mix sounding… So much detail went into this one. Feels so good to have it out there.”
