Yesterday System of a Down fans found that most the band’s Toxicity album was removed from Spotify.
Social media went into overdrive, fifty per cent jokes about a crisis and fifty per cent gutted people.
It appears to have been a glitch as the album is back now, but it’s a good reminder that if you don’t own the songs yourself, then you may find you don’t have access to them anymore one day if streaming platforms change policy or experience failures.
