Juice WRLD sadly died recently, and the tributes have been justly pouring in. Among them was Sting, he of the Police, whose 1993 song Shape of My Heart was reinterpreted by Juice for the latters hit Lucid Dreams.

Here’s what Sting said: “This is such a tragic loss for the world of music, a young life with so much potential and a unique and precious talent,…‘Lucid Dreams’ was my favourite of all the many interpolations of ‘Shape of my Heart’, it will resonate for many years to come. My sincere condolences to the family.”

This is notable because it was reported, including by Juice himself, that Sting had sued asking for a huge share of royalties, but a spokesperson for Sting has told Billboard: this was “simply untrue”. No suing.
