Joost Klein was the favourite to win this year’s Eurovision until, hours before the final started, he was thrown out. At the time the Eurovision organisers were vague about what had happened, just that a female member of production crew had made a complaint that Joost had made a threatening move against her.

Swedish police has now dropped the investigation explaining he did nothing wrong. Rushing offstage “the man made a movement that hit the woman’s film camera,” and “the course of events was fast and was perceived differently by the witnesses of the incident.”
