The 2022 Christmas chart battle is between food bank normalisers and a song the mainstream are ignoring

It’s Christmas 2022, and that means Ladbaby are going for their fifth number one in a row. The odious grifters are once more refusing to challenge the source of foodbanks, instead preferring to normalise them as long as the money passes through them on the way there. Further still, it’s another completely appalling song devoid of any thought.

But wait, what’s this… you won’t have heard about this on the mainstream news as they’re ignoring it, but there is a single that’s competing with Ladbaby for the top of the charts which targets the source of foodbanks, namely twelve years of Tory economic warfare and mishandling, and it’s got the ‘we can’t print this anywhere’ title of Fuck the Tories by The Kunts.

Now, before you ask is this really a chart battle…. Yes it is. Ladbaby is currently as number one on the iTunes download charts, and Fuck the Tories is number 2. Streams, purchases, social media comments, all are welcomed by the Kunts as they attempt to assail causes and enablers and make a statement. The British tradition of rude and anti-establishment humour is alive and well and not eating sausage rolls.
