Okay, we know this is niche, we we’re big fans of marvellous little museums which plough on through passion and we always take a look at the Museum of the Year shortlist.

So you can too.

The winner gets the title Museum of the Year and £120,000 which is probably the largest cash prize of its kind.

The list is:

Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery
Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum
The Box in Plymouth
The National Gallery and V&A East Storehouse

We’re most interested in Norwich’s, because after a five year building project it’s said to be the “UK’s most accessible castle” whatever that actually means.
