We thought this was an Onion story at first, but no, it’s true.

Mad conspiracy nut and peddler of questionable supplements Alex Jones got in serious trouble when he said the Sandy Hook Massacre was fake and all the murdered children weren’t. When fans of Jones started sending the parents abuse the latter sued and won a huge legal victory.

Jones, unable to pay the vast fine, was forced to have his website and brand InfoWars put up for auction. The Onion, America’s finest satirical news source, teamed with the parents and bought it.

They plan to turn it into a comedy channel, although even they won’t be able to match the mendacious nonsense Jones put on it.
