Shangri La has always been one of the most out there and creative areas of the Glastonbury experience, a festival within a festival, and we imagine they sat climbing the walls in quarantine. The good news is they’ve found something for them and us to all do, and it’s a new virtual reality festival.

July 3rd to 4th will be the home of Lost Horizon, aka the world’s largest independent music festival in virtual reality.” They explain it as  “a real festival in a virtual world: a fully interactive and multi-stage event to explore via PC, VR or mobile app or streamed live and direct to wherever you are on the planet.”

This means two days of streamed content (via Twitch and Beatport), with numerous top DJs and hundreds of pieces of visual arts. If you enjoy it, donations to Amnesty and Big Issue are hoped for.
