Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage has always existed in a curious twilight, the most famous musical location in Britain for 3 days a year, and then originally officially a barn, and now a metal structure around which a farm works.
However, plans have been revealed to finally turn the Pyramid Stage into a permanent presence… and you might be wondering what’s the point if there’s only a festival once a year. Camping, parties and other uses for the site are mooted.
Of course, the locals are already upset that the plans might turn into… camping, parties and other uses for the site. So, a legal battle might ensue, or Emily Eavis might be able to talk her way through the situation and we might be able to go to the Pyramid stage all year round.
