In the hit show Baby Reindeer, the character of Martha dominates proceedings, and not in a good way. It soon became apparent much of the character was based on writer / actor Richard Gadd’s views of a woman called Fiona Harvey.
Harvey appeared on Piers Morgan where… well she didn’t come across well.
Now she has contacted lawyers and is suing Netflix, but they’ve picked California to do it in (she’s Scottish and lives in Scotland), and wants over $170 million.
