Chappell Roan’s well deserved ascent has run into something of a storm, due to sharing some perfectly reasonable political opinions.

Apparently ‘one side’s bad and the other is worse so I’ll vote for the least bad side but I wish they were better’ is offending some people, and in this day and age that means hysteria across the internet, threatening to delete their tracks etc.

Maybe it’s because we’re in Britain where ‘they both suck so I guess I’ll vote for the one that sucks less’ has usually been the default position of pretty much everyone in most elections, whatever side you’re on.

So, yunno, let her have her views, nobody is immune to criticism. No one is a god. This is not a cult.
