The Supajam Stage Returns to Black Deer Festival: Here are the Acts

Supajam’s had a stage at the Black Deer Festival for the last four years and we’re pleased to announce we will return for a fifth in 2024. Between us, Black Deer, Folklore Sessions and Local&Live we have curated a lineup worthy of the UK’s leading Americana festival.

Our three headliners are Toby Lee, who played the BB King Blues Club aged just ten and has shared a stage with Joe Bonamassa, British musician Toby Sebastian and the excellent Orange Circus Band. The other acts are Will Page, The Roebuck, Edie Bens, Message from the Ravens, Sorrel Nation, Duskhouse, The Folly Bros, Doris Amy, The Ackerleys, Jacko Hooper, Memorial, Brooke Law, as well as performances from the Supajam students.

The aim of the stage is twofold: to present a brilliant musical experience, but also to include Supajam’s students in all aspects of production and performance, providing these developing talents with the rarest of hands-on experiences. As Supajam co-founder David Court put it, “We believe learning through music and firsthand experience instils confidence, engagement and experience and wisdom students can carry for a lifetime.”

Black Deer Festival co-founder Gill Tee explained how the stage has evolved: “The SupaJam stage grows yearly, which has now led to artists contacting us asking if they can get involved. It has always been so important for me and to see firsthand what the festival brings to the students means everything. The stage is extremely popular with festival-goers and we are humbled to be able to present such a line-up of talented and well respected performers from across the globe. 2024 is going to be the best year yet!”

Black Deer 24 takes place at Eridge Park in Kent from June 14 – 16… but that’s enough of us talking, lets bring you some performances from these excellent artists:

Here’s Toby Sebastian with Florence Pugh: yes, that Florence Pugh.

Here’s Toby Lee doing his thing on the guitar with ‘Spike Rock’ (Spike is the Les Paul)
