A clip from a Simon Cowell interview had done the rounds on the net, and whew, is it revealing.

Simon is trying to look generous and kind to One Direction, but actually reveals the depths of his desire to control and profit off others.

He says his one regret about One Direction is he doesn’t own the name… the lads get to control what they do with it, but Simon has definite plans including animating the band if he could profit off it.
