A trio called the Smile will be appearing on tonight’s Live At Worthy Farm event, and you’ll have heard of them: Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, with drummer Tom Skinner from Sons of Kemet.
They are due to debut at 11:05 and are named after a Ted Hughes poem.
Emily Eavis gave some fluff: “We’re truly honoured that Thom and Jonny have chosen our livestream event to premiere their brand new project, The Smile… Sadly, we are all unable to gather together at Worthy Farm, but alongside sets from other wonderful performers, this has all the makings of a special Glastonbury moment – and one we can broadcast to the world.”
