The people behind TQ Tickets Ltd have been convicted of fraudulent trading, and will be sentenced soon.
The company used fake identities to purchase large quantities of gig tickets which were then resold on at great profits.
Furthermore, they sometimes sent out ripped envelopes and claimed tickets had been lost in the post, and amended tickets involving methods as old fashioned and useless as Tipp-Ex.
The scammers generated sales over £6.5 milliion by buying 47,000 tickets with 127 names and 187 email addresses.
