For many people, Tim’s Twitter Listening Party was what got them through lockdown. It was a simple concept: Charlatans singer Burgess played an album, joined by the people involved to provide commentary, and everyone listened along live.

It was such a hit hundreds of parties followed, plus two books and a slot on Absolute Radio. Perhaps inevitably, the Twitter version has to end now.

Tim told us on Twitter:
