Belgium’s Tomorrowland is due to happen this weekend, but the organisers have run into a problem: the main stage burned down.
Press photos showed the fire, which took place on Wednesday, completely destroyed the structure. No one was hurt, but the question was raised: how can it go on?
Tomorrowland have pulled themselves up and pledged it’s going ahead. It’ll open two hours later on Friday, and there are plans being enacted right now to get a new stage. If it’s not ready for Friday it’ll run as reduced capacity over two separate areas and open completely Saturday.
If needed, main stage artists will take over the Gathering Stage.
Fingers crossed!
