Total Eclipse of the heart remains a fantastic song with a huge following, which is why it’s reached the 1 billion streams mark on Spotify. Accordingly, singer Bonnie Tyler was presented with a plaque.

The BBC took the opportunity to ask Bonnie about the song and she’s thrilled it’s still going strong and loves performing it.

However, the question of how much she makes from all this streaming brought a sad result:

“Oh it’s nothing, just about nothing,” Tyler said.

Now, this might not be just Spotify’s setup, there could be contractual reasons, but it’s still not good.
