Travis Scott ran the 2021 Astroworld Music Festival in association with Live Nation, but during a performance on November 5th 2021 there was a crowd surge that killed ten and inured thousands.
Legal teams have been investigating, chiefly whether Scott and his team failed to provide adequate safety measures. However, a Grand Jury has now decided that Scott shouldn’t face any charges for the evemts.
His lawyer stated He never encouraged people to do anything that resulted in other people being hurt… Travis is not responsible. Bringing criminal charges against him will not ease [the victim’s] pain.”
