The Vans’ Musicians Wanted 2021 contest is a big one. It’s for new acts from all of Europe, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region, across all genres, and over twenty thousand acts applied last year. For the 2021 iteration you have until July 23rd to submit, and the prizes range from useful gear, Spotify playlisting to performing with Yungblud at a show in 2022.
The top five from each genre will perform in September 2021 in a series of virtual gigs. Final judging comes from Denzel Curry, Julia Michaels, Sean Miyashiro and Yungblud himself. Pretty big stuff.
Apply on this website, and remember, all genres are open.
