Young Thug has been a rising star in the rap world, but he’s now in a lot of trouble: he’s on trial accused of co-founding a criminal gang.

Yep, prosecutors are arguing his music label YSL is actually the front for a street gang that’s committed murder, armed robbery and carjacking, and have placed in on trial for it under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (Rico) Act used to tackle mobsters.

Over four hundred witnesses are anticipated, in a case that’s been built up over ten years. It’s believed Young Thugs own lyrics will be examined in the back and forth.
