Sunderland 6 piece Lilliput are back with a second single ‘Turn it Around’. A quick follow up from their debut single ‘Waiting to Go’ it seems Lilliput have found their feet along with their dancing shoes. ‘Turn it Around’ is an upbeat keyboard driven pop rock song with a good measure of northern edge.

 

The verses tell the story of an every day struggle before quickly catapulting the listener into a harmony heavy chorus with a piercing lead line from frontman Joe Collins. A healthy dose of guitars give it an electric city sound reminiscent of Steely Dan and the likes before the song ends with a tight harmony descent. 2015 has proved a strong re-introduction from the Wearside outfit. Watch out for a debut album in 2016.
