Bloodshake is a pretty decent indie disco number from Peace, competently knocking off Foals mid noughties vaguely African sounding dance jangle. but Jesus Christ the video! I know this shouldn’t matter but the Bloodshake video makes Peace look like the most desperate, hateful group of hipster mugs I’ve ever seen. It’s like they chucked 15 ‘vintage’ ASOS shoots at the band and left them to fight out who got the tassled jacket. There’s even a ‘random’ cute dog, cos cute dogs are, like ironic and cool. Aren’t they? Are they? Man I don’t even know anymore. Still, I hope it shat everywhere. Sack the stylist.
