Well this is quite the sleazy late night groover. I can’t be certain that Rush Midnight plays his keyboards whilst wearing brown leatherette driving gloves, but I’m going up my enjoyment of Don’t Give Me Your Love 100% by imagining that he does. If they get around to making a sequel to Drive then I vote for this to be the main cut on the soundtrack, perhaps accompanying a scene of Ryan Gosling beating someones head to a pulp with with an 80s Hits box set. For those of you that like to know these things, Rush Midnight is the solo project of one Russ Manning,  a Brooklynite (aren’t they all…?) with big ideas. More music over on his facebook.
