Indie Funk band Wildlife introduces themselves with their debut Ep. The bands unpredictable sound is made up of solid beats, punchy bass lines and intricate guitar parts which form a platform for some raw and at times desperate vocals.

Opening track Mega Blood is the best of the four tracks on offer, with its catchy riff and offbeat drums. The vocal screams are contrasted at times in “Lunacy” and “Land Ho” where he displays the softer end of an impressive vocal range. There are elements of Punk that can be heard and comparatives could justifiably be made to both the Franz Ferdinand and early Chilli Peppers, but these guys certainly have their own sound and it’s worth a listen.
