Tune Yards are a Leeds band whose debut was quite a hit (well, number two on the album chart). If you’ve not heard them before and you saw that stat, you’d have absolutely no idea what this new single sounds like, because it’s in the long and fine British indie tradition of top beats over crazy stories.

The Trench Coat Museum sees the lyrics narrating a quick history and comeback of the Trench Coat, while the music is eight glorious minutes of sinewy changes which never lets up, which makes you put it on again. It’s a superb tune, all musical threat and vocal whimsy.
